A tea house built under the terrace of an RC building. 

The tea room is an open-air space floating on water.

The eaves are supported by girders made of polished logs of the Kitayama cedar and waste pillars made of joints from the hiba false arborvitae (species of cypress, Thujopsis dolabrata).

Floor pillars are made of Jindai cedar 

The other pillar is made of Kitayama cedar with a polished surface. 

Otoshigake is red cedar 

Floor frame is old wood 

There is a service entrance at offstage

From another angle

On the side wall of the tokonoma (alcove) is an Bokuseki window (which induce light to see letters on a hanging scroll).

The middle pillar is a beautifully curved tree with red pine bark
