The crawling doorway,

latticework window,

base window,

and stepping stone are made of Ikoma stone.

Open space and

waiting area to sit down

The pillars in the waiting area are made of  knotty "ate (hiba false arborvitae)" log, which are good enough to be used as floor pillars.

The tea ceremony room was made later in the space where the RC structure was complicatedly built.

The floor post is made of old wood from a certain temple. 

The floor frame is made of old chestnut. 

Floor frame is made of cedar 

All of them were prepared by the owner.

The middle board is made of old pine.  

The furnace is "mukogiri".

The wraparound edge on the floor is made of sooty bamboo 

The pole is a bamboo fukiyose of sooty woman bamboo. 

The ceiling board is a sliced thin board of Kurobe cedar

Taiko sliding doors transmit light.

The table in the foreground is a foldable serving rack.  

The "Mizuya" (facilities such as a kitchen) is designed according to Omotesenke's specifications.
